You can configure WHMCS to charge GST on purchases and collect GSTINs from clients on the order form.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Configure Tax Rules<\/h2>\n

To configure WHMCS to collect GST:<\/p>\n

1. Log in to the WHMCS Admin Area.<\/p>\n

2. Go to\u00a0Configuration > System Settings > Tax Configuration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. Set\u00a0Tax Support<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0ON<\/em>.<\/p>\n

4. To display your own GSTIN on invoices, enter it for\u00a0Your Tax ID\/VAT Number<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5. Set\u00a0Customer Tax IDs\/VAT Numbers<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0ON<\/em>.<\/p>\n

6. Click\u00a0Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7. Select the\u00a0Tax Rules<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/p>\n

8. Under\u00a0Quick Add<\/strong>, create the desired\u00a0GST<\/strong>\u00a0tax rules. Tax rules can apply to an entire country or to individual states or regions.<\/p>\n

For example, you could create a\u00a0GST<\/strong>\u00a0rule that applies to all of the states or regions in India.<\/p>\n

After you configure the settings for each tax rule, click\u00a0Add Rule<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can customize the label for collecting tax ID numbers to display\u00a0GSTIN<\/strong>\u00a0instead of\u00a0Tax ID<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

1. Create an\u00a0overrides<\/code>\u00a0directory in the\u00a0lang<\/code>\u00a0directory within your WHMCS installation.<\/p>\n

2. Create an override file for the desired language within the new overrides directory (for example,\u00a0\/whmcs\/lang\/overrides\/english.php<\/code>).<\/p>\n
