Issue<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

We’ve been made aware of a technical issue at 2Checkout which results in some transactions being recorded for much large amounts than actually paid:<\/p>\n

We have identified a release made on the May 30th which is causing the issue<\/p>\n

The issue only affects 2checkout accounts with primary currency different than USD<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A fix for the issue is purportedly being deployed to 2Checkout’s systems today (4th June 2019)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Workaround<\/h2>\n
\n
\n

In the meantime a potential workaround from the WHMCS side is:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Navigate to\u00a0Setup > Payments > Payment Gateways > Manage Existing Gateways tab<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Adjust the 2Checkout\u00a0Convert to For Processing<\/em>\u00a0setting<\/li>\n
  3. Choose the currency matching that in which your 2Checkout account is held.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    If you’ve been impacted by this issue, we recommend reviewing the transaction history:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Navigate to\u00a0Billing > Transaction List<\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Edit the transaction which has recorded a higher amount that expected and correct the\u00a0Amount In<\/em>\u00a0value<\/li>\n
    3. Click\u00a0Save Changes<\/em><\/li>\n
    4. Repeat the process for each affected transaction<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Some transactions may have resulted in overpayments. To check for and remove any subsequent credit:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Navigate to the affected client’s\u00a0Summary tab<\/strong><\/li>\n
      2. Click\u00a0Manage Credits<\/em><\/li>\n
      3. Look for any overpayment credit applied between 30th May and 4th June 2019<\/li>\n
      4. Click the\u00a0Remove Credit<\/em>\u00a0button<\/li>\n
      5. Enter the Amount corresponding to the overpayment amount<\/li>\n
      6. Click\u00a0Save Changes<\/em><\/li>\n
      7. Repeat the process for each affected transaction<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
