How to Allow Users to Delete Saved Cards<\/h1>\n

By default, WHMCS allows users to add and update credit and debit card details (their payment methods or\u00a0Pay Methods) from within the Client Area. You can also configure WHMCS to allow them to delete their payment methods. Additionally, clients can choose not to automatically save payment details during checkout.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Deleting Payment Methods<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

To do this:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Go to\u00a0Configuration > System Settings > General Settings\u00a0<\/strong>and choose the\u00a0Security<\/strong>\u00a0tab.<\/li>\n
  2. Check\u00a0Allow Client Pay Method Removal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Click\u00a0Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    After you do this, clients will see\u00a0Delete<\/strong>\u00a0in the\u00a0Actions<\/strong>\u00a0column in their list of payment methods.<\/p>\n

    Storing Payment Methods<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

    An option to store card details displays on the shopping cart checkout page. Users can toggle this to\u00a0Off<\/strong>\u00a0to prevent storing their card details after payment processing.<\/p>\n

    By default, the system stores card details as a\u00a0Pay Method.<\/p>\n
