How to Create Your First cPanel Server<\/h1>\n

Before you can sell and provision hosting accounts, you must add at least one server to your WHMCS installation. The steps below create a cPanel server<\/a> in WHMCS.<\/p>\n

Creating a cPanel Server<\/h2>\n

To add your server to WHMCS:<\/p>\n

1. Create an API token in WHM. For more information, see cPanel’s\u00a0API Token Documentation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Make sure to note the API token. You will need this in subsequent steps and cannot retrieve the token again later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2. Log in to the WHMCS Admin Area.<\/p>\n

3. Go to\u00a0Configuration > System Settings > Servers<\/strong>\u00a0(Setup > Products\/Services > Servers<\/strong>\u00a0in WHMCS 7.10 and earlier).<\/p>\n

4. Click\u00a0Add New Server.<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. Select\u00a0cPanel<\/em>\u00a0for\u00a0Module<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6. Enter the server hostname or IP address, your WHM username, and the API token that you created.<\/p>\n

7. Click\u00a0Test Connection<\/strong>\u00a0to ensure that WHMCS is able to communicate. A success message will appear.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
