Step 1:<\/strong> Login To cPanel And Search For Let\u2019s Encrypt<\/strong><\/p>\n

After logging into cPanel, use the search bar located at the top of the dashboard and search for: Let\u2019s Encrypt<\/strong><\/p>\n

As shown in the image below, Click on the Let\u2019s Encrypt SSL<\/strong> option to continue.<\/p>\n

Step 2<\/strong>: Issue A New SSL Certificate<\/strong><\/p>\n

As shown in the image below, locate the domain name you want to secure from the available domains list inside the Let\u2019s Encrypt SSL interface.<\/p>\n

Under the Actions<\/strong> section, click on the \u201cIssue\u201d<\/strong> button next to your selected domain to start generating and installing the SSL certificate.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Configure Domain SSL Options<\/strong>
\nOn the next page, you will see multiple SSL configuration options.<\/p>\n

Include Wildcard?\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 select this option only if you want to install a Let\u2019s Encrypt Wildcard SSL which will cover *.yourdomain.com. To include wildcard domains, please make sure to choose first the dns-01 validation method.<\/p>\n

Add cPanel subdomains?<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0 to select some additional cPanel subdomains*. This is optional and it\u2019s not a mandatory checkbox.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

cPanel subdomains are those such as\u00a0cpanel. <\/em>and\u00a0webmail. <\/em>, which when added, allow access to cPanel services via that subdomain.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Choose SSL Validation Method<\/strong><\/p>\n

HTTP Validation (http-01)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0You will usually want to use the HTTP validation method.<\/p>\n

DNS Validation (dns-01)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 If your domain\u2019s nameservers point to cPanel, then you have the option of using the DNS validation method instead.<\/p>\n

Wildcard SSL certificates require DNS validation.<\/p>\n

Step 5: Click On Issue<\/strong><\/p>\n

After selecting the preferred validation method, click on the Issue<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

Once the process is completed, the Let\u2019s Encrypt SSL certificate will be automatically installed on your domain. The server configuration will be updated automatically, and Apache services will restart in the background to activate the SSL certificate successfully.<\/p>\n
