It simply maps a FQDN (Full Qualified Domain Name), which is in human readable form. For example, www.trustedhosting.in\u00a0 to IP address, which are used by computer machine, e.g. 127.0.0.1 For this process, DNS uses zone files that are stored in servers, which contains resource records to map a domain name to an IP address.<\/p>\n<p>In this Zone Editor, we can add A , CNAME , MX , TXT , SRV\u00a0 records \u2212<\/p>\n<h2>Add an A Record<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>A<\/strong>\u00a0types of resource records are Host Name records. If successful, you will get a success message.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Note<\/strong>\u00a0\u2212\u00a0<strong>\u2018A\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0records are essential for accessing your website. They allow DNS servers to locate your website and its services. Without an\u00a0<strong>\u2018A\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0record, visitors can\u2019t access your website. The cPanel automatically configures\u00a0<strong>A<\/strong>\u00a0type records for your domain and website, as soon as they are created.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'arial black', sans-serif;\"><strong>Same Process You Can Easily Add A , AAAA , Cname , MX Records\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Remove an A or CNAME Record<\/h2>\n<p>To remove a user defined\u00a0<strong>A or CNAME Record<\/strong>, please scroll below on Simple Zone Editor to find\u00a0<strong>User\u2013Defined Records<\/strong>.
