Plugin allows to easily modify, customize or enhance WordPress blog or post. The WordPress Plugin is a software that can be uploaded to expand the functionality of the site. They add services or features to WordPress blog. Plugins are used to make your work easier. Following are the simple steps to add plugins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step (1)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2212 On the left side bar, Click on\u00a0<strong>Plugins \u2192 Installed Plugins<\/strong>\u00a0as shown in the screen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/328_plugin-settings.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"718\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step (2)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2212 The following page appears.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/329_plugin-settings-1.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"387\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this section, you can view the already installed plugins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step (3)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2212 Click on \u2192\u00a0<strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New<\/strong>\u00a0menu as shown in the following screen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/330_plugin-settings-2.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"800\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step (4)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2212 A list of plugins appears that are used in WordPress. Here you can directly install plugins from the available list or you can upload it by clicking on\u00a0<strong>Upload Plugin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/331_plugin-settings-3.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"454\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you click on Upload Plugin you&#8217;ll get the following page.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/332_plugin-settings-4.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"220\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on\u00a0<strong>Choose File<\/strong>, you can add files from your system. Otherwise, you can directly choose the plugin that you need and click on\u00a0<strong>Install now<\/strong>\u00a0as seen in the following screenshot.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/333_plugin-settings-5.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"491\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you click on Install Now, the package starts to download and gets installed. Then, click on\u00a0<strong>Activate plugin<\/strong>\u00a0to active that plugin to use in WordPress as seen in the following screen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/334_plugin-settings-6.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"696\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After clicking on Activate Plugin you&#8217;ll get a message as\u00a0<em>Plugin activated<\/em>\u00a0and you can also find the installed plugin in the list.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/335_plugin-settings-7.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"453\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Below the\u00a0<em>plugin activated<\/em>\u00a0message, you can view few options such as\u00a0<strong>All, Active, Inactive<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Update available<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When you click on\u00a0<strong>Active<\/strong>\u00a0the following page appears. Here you can view all the activated plugins.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/336_plugin-settings-8.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"492\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When we click on\u00a0<strong>Inactive<\/strong>, the plugins which are available but are not activated gets displayed. You can activate this plugin by clicking on\u00a0<strong>Activate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/337_plugin-settings-9.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"266\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When you click on\u00a0<strong>Update available<\/strong>, you&#8217;ll get a list of plugins that must be updated. Click on\u00a0<strong>Update<\/strong>\u00a0and you get a message as\u00a0<em>Updated<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/manage.trustedhosting.in\/index.php?rp=\/images\/kb\/338_plugin-settings-10.png\" alt=\"Wordpress Plugin Settings\" width=\"1000\" height=\"520\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Click on\u00a0<strong>Bulk Actions<\/strong>\u00a0and select any of the options.
