WebyStrata.com offers a fully managed and free migration service strictly for cPanel to cPanel transfers. This migration method ensures complete data accuracy, account integrity and seamless transfer without manual reconstruction. By using this service, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms defined in this Migration Policy.

2. Scope and Applicability

This policy applies only to hosting accounts moved from an existing cPanel server to WebyStrata.com’s cPanel servers. The free migration service is available for shared hosting, reseller hosting and WordPress hosting accounts where the source server provides full cPanel access or a complete cPanel backup file.

3. What Is Included in Free Migration

The following elements are fully covered under the free cPanel to cPanel migration service:

  • Full cPanel account transfer using official WHM restore tools.
  • Complete WordPress files and associated media libraries.
  • All MySQL databases, users and permissions.
  • Email accounts, mailboxes, filters and forwarders.
  • Domains, subdomains, parked domains and DNS records.
  • FTP accounts, cron jobs and hosting configurations.
  • Automatic recreation of the same environment on our servers.

4. Information Required from Customers

To initiate migration, customers must submit the following details strictly through the secure Client Area:

  • Source server IP address.
  • cPanel username.
  • cPanel password or a full cPanel backup file.

For security reasons, WebyStrata.com does not accept credentials through WhatsApp, email, or any unofficial communication channel.

5. Migration Conditions and Requirements

The free migration service is applicable only when full cPanel access is available on the previous host. The source account must be active, accessible, and capable of generating backups or direct transfers. Customers must ensure the login details provided are correct and functional at the time of submission.

6. Migration Procedure

Once all required information is received, the migration process follows these steps:

  • Verification of credentials and access.
  • Creation of a full cPanel backup or direct transfer session.
  • Restoration of the account on WebyStrata.com servers.
  • File and database integrity checks.
  • Email and DNS verification.
  • Website performance validation.
  • Customer confirmation before DNS switch.

7. Zero Downtime Policy

Where possible, WebyStrata.com ensures zero downtime by performing the migration while the website remains live on the old server. DNS switching is done only after validation and customer approval. Some minor propagation delays may occur, depending on ISP caching.

8. Post-Migration Verification

After completing the migration, WebyStrata.com conducts a full verification process. This includes database checks, file accuracy validation, email testing, performance review, and plugin compatibility checks to ensure the website loads correctly and functions as expected.

9. What Is Not Included Under Free Migration

The following services are not part of the free migration policy and require manual work beyond cPanel system capabilities:

  • WordPress migration from non-cPanel hosting platforms.
  • Manual FTP transfers of files or directories.
  • Manual MySQL export/import operations.
  • Website cloning, duplication or custom rebuilds.
  • Migrations from Plesk, DirectAdmin, CyberPanel or custom panels.
  • Single-site extraction from multi-site environments without cPanel access.

10. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing correct login details, ensuring their previous hosting account is active, and validating the migrated website after completion. Customers must also update their domain nameservers or DNS records as instructed.

11. Migration Limitations

WebyStrata.com performs migrations based on the data available in the source cPanel. If the previous host restricts access, blocks backup downloads, or limits transfers, the migration may be delayed or require customer assistance. Data stored outside cPanel cannot be migrated for free.

12. Security and Privacy

All submitted credentials are handled confidentially and used solely for the purpose of completing the migration. Credentials are deleted immediately after the migration is completed. No data is shared with third parties at any point.

13. Denial of Migration Requests

WebyStrata.com may refuse free migration requests in the following scenarios:

  • Invalid or non-working cPanel credentials.
  • Suspended or inaccessible source hosting accounts.
  • Requests involving manual reconstruction or cloning.
  • Multiple repeated migration requests in short intervals.

14. Data Integrity and Liability

WebyStrata.com performs migrations using industry standard methods. While every effort is made to ensure data accuracy, the company is not responsible for corrupted data, broken plugins, outdated themes or pre-existing issues on the source server.

15. Completion Timeline

Most migrations are completed within 24 to 48 hours, depending on account size, server load and source server speed. Larger reseller accounts or high-volume email accounts may require additional time.

16. Escalations and Support

Any migration-related issue may be escalated through the Client Area. The support team is available 24x7 to assist customers throughout the migration and post-migration phases.

17. Policy Amendments

WebyStrata.com reserves the right to modify, update or change this Migration Policy at any time to meet operational requirements. Changes take effect immediately upon publication on our official website.

18. Final Terms

By requesting a migration, the customer agrees to all terms stated in this policy. The migration service is provided free as a value-added benefit and does not constitute a guaranteed entitlement. WebyStrata.com retains full discretion to approve, deny or adjust migration requests based on technical feasibility and security considerations.
